problems with import to maschine after update

hi 2gether,

after updating to the new version of iMaschine I can not import the iMprj files
to Maschine. If Maschine is closed while opening the file a blank project will be opened and if there's a file loaded I get the prompt to discard or save the changes but after that nothing happens!

i tried old exports from iMaschine which still work perfect. new owns don't work. I tried it from an iPad 16GB (3rd gen.) and iPhone 4s 32GB. always the same.

that's very frustrating

i would be thankful for any advise.

now i just tried the other way and imported the project from an iphone with version 1.0.3 to an old GS3 with iMaschen version 1.0.2! no errors during import. but when i open the file i get the message "no recording". there are also no sounds behind the pads.
that sounds logic to me that v1.0.3 is not compatible with v1.0.2 backwards. iam running maschine on a windows 7 pc with version 1.7.2 - so should there be an update too for it?

can anybody say that export/import is still working with iMaschine 1.0.3 and Maschine 1.7.2?

Exporting from iMaschine to Maschine is not working after the update. I'm pretty irritated about this considering I truly believe I'm the biggest fan in the universe of Maschine technology. I was looking forward to major adjustments for the iMaschine export to Maschine. Instead, iMaschine projects don't even open in Maschine anymore :angry:

The good thing is, it does play my mixdown .wav files outside of Maschine now. When you open up a project in iMaschine you don't have to reset the delay feedback effect anymore. Before you had to reset it every time you opened the file so it would sound like the way that you saved it

So iMaschine users, we were all waiting for a major update, but we got a major problem...NI...what's up?

 

that's really a pitty i'll try to contact the main support. maybe there is a work around.

 

I'm also having this same issue. When I try opening post-updated iMaschine files in Maschine, they reset as New Project files. All of the samples and assets are in the .zip, expect the files just don't work or seem to have anything there. Very odd and puzzling.

 

The program is laggy now as well

NI messed up big time on this update. Exporting to Soundcloud takes longer now as well.

This issue seems to be caused by a bug in the current version of the application.

I'm also not able to import the .iMprj file properly into Maschine after the update. Closest I can get is to import the audio mixdown file, then chop it up, which is a huge waste of time.

Super frustrating: I just got back from travelling and have a whole batch of fresh sketches I want to flush out in Maschine.

Please fix this bug!

Our iMaschine developers are aware of the issue and are working on posting an update ASAP as it is our top priority currently. Until then we apologize for the inconvenience. Note that this does not affect saved projects that you are working on, once an update is out you will be able to re-save the project and then export it to Maschine.

wow - just got an answer to my ticket from last week. we'll have to wait some more days for the update...

 

I just purchased iMaschine. Imagine my joy when I found that I can't import iMaschines projects. Gonna start a support ticket anyway.

 

well it is very sad almost 14 days without being able to work with what it should do. I always read the posts in the Traktor section about Things that doesnt work, but this One is realy elemtary.

 

This is not cool. I woke up in the middle of a lucid dream today in which I was making a deep house track, then quickly opened up iMaschine to jot it down while I could remember the parts... and when I came to my Maschine to import it and finish it off, my momentum was completely stopped by this ridiculous bug. Will you please fix this ASAP? Also, make the metronome optional; it's killing my flow.

 

I Wonder cause that The problem is metioned by only 4 people here right now!

It'd be cool if we could install an older version of iMaschine in the meantime so we could use that feature. Super bummed it's not working at the moment!
