Problems with Maschine 2.0.5 and Diva Synth 1.3

This plug-in does not work with Maschine 2.0.5 (Mac).

The plugin causes playback and audio export functions to stop working.

If I disable the plugin then Maschine playback and exporting works.

Sometimes I am able to use the plugin for several minutes before the problems occur.

I'm running Maschine 64-bit mode standalone.

 

Have you submitted this to NI and U-He tech support as a potential bug?

I don't have the plugin to test it, so can't help further, but if you can reproduce it, report it.

 

I'm still testing it in various modes; trying to understand the behavior a bit more before I report it to them. I just wanted to give notice here in case other users are experiencing problems. But I'll report it for sure.

when you go into maschine--preferences--plug ins is it showing Diva as VST or AU?

 

Both are available. I've tried both and the results are the same. I'm only using a single instance of Diva. It is set to draft mode.

A few times I have experienced Maschine not freezing but playing back at a very slow speed and all of the sounds pitched down.

 

I am having problems with this combo as well. Maschine will usually stop responding when opening any project that is using the Diva VST. In order to recover the project I have to move Diva(x64).dll from my VST folder, load the project, replace the .dll and rescan. It works fine while working in the project, just can't load it again.

I'm also having major problems with Diva 1.3, Maschine 2.0, and Ableton. Ableton crashes every time I open a project with Diva loaded inside a Maschine sound.

 

Here is a sample project. It crashes every time I open it. It is an Ableton project with a Maschine track and a MIDI track - in a group.
