I made my first attempt to record a set in Traktor. It was pretty good (hehehe), I was pretty happy with my 1hr tech-house mix. I just hit record and then started playing... 57min later I stoped, and clicked on "rec" again to stop recording.

Then it began analyzing the result recording, but I canceled that (should I let it finish?) cuz I wouldn't use it anyway, just wanted to convert the file to Mp3 so I could listen to it in my car.

When I did this I realized the result file was 35min, and not 57. Maybe a problem with the MP3 encoding? No, I checked the original Wav file: 35min.

    WTF?

Witch OS u have and how big is the Recordfile preset in the prefences?
I have with 700 MB size stupid failures in the recorded files, after switching to 650MB everything is fine.

    I'm on Vista.

I wasn't aware of the preference on filesize. I'll check that. Thanks.

The result file was something like 600mb, but the weird thing is, is that it wasn't truncated at the end, but at the beginning. The sound starts in the middle of my mix.
