Program Changes

Markus, it may be my lack of understanding but I am having trouble with Bandstand accepting program changes when it first launches (New Preset) or when I load QuickLoad. It seems to work if I load another preset such as the Jazz preset. In the previous version of Bandstand everything worked ok.

I am using Live - Styler as the auto accompaniment and forte as my host program.

The interim solution I am using involves loading the Jazz preset and deleting all the instruments and saving this setting with my host software. This still does not solve the problem with Quickload or New Preset. This needs some attention from NI.

that is a weird one! it works okay for me on PC standalone with the empty preset after startup. are you using the latest update? it sounds like Bandstand is not recognizing your standard preset as belonging to its library.

do you have the following line in your registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Content?

k2lib0010 = Bandstand

let me spend some time with the VST version at home. I recently started checking out Live-Styler after reading about the program on your forum. it sure looks impressive!

Markus, I will check out the registry entry as you suggested. I am still using the jazz preset and cleaned out all the instruments entries and everything works ok. I renamed it General and it works fine. And yes all my NI software is of the current versions.
