    If you purchased Traktor Scratch Pro without an NI Audio 8 then i would suggest that you have either been misled or have made a mistake.

    Timecode control can only be achieved when using an approved audio device, either an Audio 8 / Audio 4 or Traktor Scratch Certified mixer.
    This information is mentioned on the NI website and about 18 trillion times on this forum.

    What you are trying to achieve is not approved.

    OK sorry for wasting your time, and yes I found that answer on this forum alot but basically DJ-Day was saying the opposite and I couldn't imagine why he'd do that if it wasn't true.

    There was a cracked and very buggy old version of TSPro doing the rounds on the internets that allowed you to use any sound card. It did not work well. Seeing as DJ-Day hasn't posted since I'd imagine he was using that.

    Ok seeing as this thread has gone off at a tangent and is now mainly focused on a topic that isnt approved and also taking into account that the use of non-approved soundcards is actually now impossible i think it would be more beneficial if it were closed.

    The title of the thread is Purchasing Traktor Scratch Pro/Traktor Pro, anybody with queries fitting that description is encouraged to start a new thread or PM me with their purchasing queries or email Sales.

    Discussion of using timecode with non-approved soundcards etc is over unless i hear different Forum Admin.
