    Hello all,
Could someone explain me how to get pure waveformes (basic one such as Square, Sawtooth and Triangle), because their ADSR are rounded though Timbre Envelope is all set to 0 and disabled morphing ?
    Thanks in advance.

They're built to work well with phase modulation, in case you need more hiss, add a bit feedback (operator selfmodulation) to the sound.

I already noticed that way, still obtained waveforms ain't satisfactory...

Not sure what you're after, since geometrically exact waveforms tend to sound rather unimpressive, check the waveforms of Analog Synths for comparison, and there are several ways to create your own waveforms within FM8.

he's right though, I find the square wave in fm8 too soft when a bright sharp square wave is needed. I've used FM as you suggested but it requires too much fine tuning and at least two operators (self modulation is not enough unfortunately) to get a desired result.

I hope NI give us not filtered basic waveforms in future updates.

The problem is, that FM8 is an phase modulation synth like the Yamaha DX7, carriers will be modulated by the slope and not the pitch of the waveform, an therefore a steep slope will cause a short modulation only and a constant line cause no modulation at all.

For square: Modulate F (square) by E (sin), set E to ratio 2, level 38, key sync E and F.
For saw: simply add some feedback to the operator.
For triangle set operator waveform to triangle, that's already fine.
