Quantise doesnt work correctly on OSX

Hi,
Ive recently rebought NI Maschine and have also bought a macbook pro running snow leopard. I installed maschine and authorized it yesterday no problem, and indeed its working 100% like it did before when I used to use it on a PC expect that the quantize function isn't working correctly.

This is both in stand alone mode and as a slave in ableton live. Basically when I try to quantize (50% or 100%) it moves the notes a little...but it certainly doesn't get them close to the grid. Then it refuses to move them any more. I'm talking basic , basic quantization here of a four to the floor kick..not even close to working. Swing off, grid 8th note...I don't know what to say. It just moves them a little.

update, tried recording some complex fast rhythms and its not recording the data correctly. Could this be a computer issue? or is it a maschine issue? Ive never had these probs before. I tried playing with the buffer size/latency in the MIDI/Audio options but it makes no difference.

Do I need to reinstall? I feel like the install of maschine just isn't right.

i have never had this problem.

have you updated to version 1.5.1?

to clarify, if you have a Grid of 1 bar having 16 Steps, then 100% quantization should move your Note Event to the nearest 16th. 50% will move it just 50%. repeated presses of 50% will move it another 50%.

btw, you are pressing Shift + Quantize, on your Controller?
