Hi, i'm Omar from Spain. I have a s49 for do a live performance in ableton with other stuff.
I want to use a s49 in 3 channels. 1 with synths,1 with instruments and 1 with bass.
All they channels with a Komplete Kontrol vst. And then, the problem is, i want to have 1 different colour for channel. in the synth blue, in the instruments orange and the yellow for the bassline.
My problem is now i have all in blue. and i know i can change in midi mode in controller editor, but no is a good solution for me. i don't wanna change all the time with browser+instance for see a colour.
it's possible to custome a instrument one for one with a personal colour choice??

maybe i don't explicate good my problem, but my english is limited.
thanks to all people . ;)

Well you explained it better in English than I could in Spanish :)

So just to get this straight:

    - You have 3 tracks (Synth / Instrument / Bass)
    - You have an instance of KK loaded in each one with the instrument within each one
    - You want the lightguide to display a different color when selecting each of these tracks (I assume so you have an easy way to see which track you have selected).

As far as I can tell it's not possible to set the LightGuide for KK instruments, only when you use the keyboard in MIDI mode (as you have mentioned).

What would be awesome is if you could custom create a lightguide for an instance of KK so you could do exactly what you said. The closest solution I have for you would simply be to create a multi-channel keysplit on the keyboard, in different colours and then adjust octave range for the instrument then simply have ALL channels on the keyboard at once and save switching instruments. Of course this creates an issue for parameter control.

Maybe someone else has a workable solution but I can't see it as possible.

oohh!! Thanks so much for you answer. Damn i've been thinking that's is possible, but don't.
i don't know why.. some instruments have his personal colours, in some place should have a data of this.
Well ,maybe in the next update of KK take him. Regards from spain ;)
