If you have the dvd there are tutorials on it explaining all of this and more. Not sure why you said downloaded it? This forum does not support software piracy so be careful how you word things.

I kind of got that impression as well.

But yeah, the manual will tell you all you need to know about the different plugs.

You should have to use your authoriziation from the service center to use the forums, they have not found a way to crack that lol.

    Hi Markus
There are three versions of the Kontakt plugins which are identical except that they have different numbers of output channels. Maybe that's what you are refering to.

Please don't take the other posts personally in case you have legitimately licensed Kontakt. Not to put any blame on you, but I hope you also understand that the way your original post was phrased served to raise some suspicion. It's unfortunate that NI's forum software doesn't update the "Forum Newcomer/Member" title to "NI Product Owner" quicker after registration.

thanks Kotori for the respectfull reply. I dont know why it shows am a new forum memeber when I own , fm8, battery 3 , kore 2 and just got Kontakt. The only reason I got ticked is because when in other forums when someone new and seeks help the first thing I do is welcome the person then try help. The way I look at it you have to assume good things first before jumping to conclusions. maybe its just a bad day.

Would it matter if I delet one of them if they are identical or would that cause a problem ? thanks for your help

Ah... from your original wording, I would have said the same thing, to be honest...

All you need to do is PM Thomas and he'll take care of it:

    http://www.nativeinstruments.de/forum_us/showthread.php?t=60826

The different .dlls have different numbers of outputs. There's Kontakt (a stereo out), Kontakt 8out (8 outputs) and Kontakt 16out (16 outputs).

Lol did anyone accuse you of anything sounds a little defensive to me, if you bought it fine then stop being a baby and get over it with all the buckets of tears lol. No one said you did anything you just worded it as if you did now get over it.
