Hello Kontakt 5 Users and composers.
Recently, I'm working for Musical theatre project and I need to make some string music with using KOMPLETE Ultimate samples

However when I tried to make a string line by using a Kontakt 5 Factory Library and also Symphony essential, I faced several issues and I need an advises from you.

    1. In the main window in Kontakt Factory Library (String sample), I found Dynamic Fade under Articulation section. What is this function for?

    2. Under the orchestral options, there is the option called "Velocity Curve" What is this actually means? First curve shape already selected as default but when I select flat-graph, then suddenly master volume getting really laud. And also I want to know what " Vel -> Vol " means.

    3. Basically when I used String samples and record in Logic, all the notes are played as separate vow (If I understand correctly)

But sometimes, I want to make some string line phrase as One vow

Is there any way to make that happen? Unfortunately I cannot buy the other expensive samples right now because of the budget, So if this Sample library cannot provide that option, it's okay. But I believe that since Symphony Essential is also known as great sample for composer, I'm pretty sure If I get a knowledge of how make string lines better, I can make it.

    Looking forward to your advises!

    Sincerely!

    1. For dynamic crossfading from one articulation to another when using the cyan keyswitches. They are all the way to the left of the keyboard, so you might need to change the octave offset control below Kontakt's pitch/mod wheels in the virtual keyboard.

    2. Velocity curve remaps your played velocities to the curvature defined by the knob. Vel -> vol is the amount of volume modulation exerted by the velocity itself.

    3. There's no built-in functionality for monophonic/legato playing in the factory strings patches. It wouldn't sound good even if it were there, so using a proper true legato sampled string library will definitely be a better choice.
