Question about microtuning

I read somewhere that Bandstand is capable of microtuning. If so, does it come with only certain preset tunings that can be used, or can you load any tun or scl file into it?

 

Presets

I only recall it having presets of microtunings accessable from the interface. However, since bandstand supports most extensions of the GM spec, this would include messages for microtonal tuning. If you can figure out how to send these tuning messages, bandstand should respond but I never tried that so I can't say if the tuning can be stored to a user patch after transmission.
