    Hey Guys,

I know I could go read the license terms, but I'd just like some clarification on this (hopefully from someone within NI who can vouch for the companies grant of rights).

Since I bought the standard license of Maschine 2.0, am I allowed to create my own drum sounds/kits via the drum synths/any Komplete instrument or effects and sell them as sample packs / kits?

I would not be using the pre-packaged Native Instruments presets. I would be creating my own sounds from scratch, adding layers, and polishing them off with processing before I either save it as a kit, or export it as a sample.

As long as you use no content from others unless licenced to do so, you are fine

In general these licenses mean you can use these libraries to make songs and sell the music with no problems but if you sell the sounds as your own then its a problem. It also means you cannot legally use these sounds to create new sounds and sell them. People do this anyway but that's how it works legally. I don't think anyone has been sued for it though its sort of hard to prove I'd imagine. Also since the drum synths are by definition synths as long as you are creating your sounds sounds with it then you should be fine.
