Hello, new here, so sorry if this is a dumb question, but something feels off.

So, I've been looking into purchasing Komplete 12 Ultimate.
Now, with the current offers, there is a bundle that has both Komplete 12 Ultimate AND Maschine MK3.

I've seen people use the Maschine and it looks like a super cool tool, HOWEVER, what caught my attention was the price.
You see, the full version of Komplete 12 Ultimate is 1200€ and the Maschine is 600€.

    Both add up to 1800€.

But now, if you look at the price of the Bundle is 1100€. Both together, are cheaper than just the Ultimate and in a way, the Maschine is free with a price like that.

But when I enter the page to purchase the word Upgrade is thrown everywhere.

Which makes me think that I'm looking at this wrong.
Do I need to have a Komplete 12 to buy this one in order to "Upgrade"?

That way, would it be possible to buy the Komplete 12 Select 199€ - then the bundle for 1100€ - at a total of 1300€?
Still, a pretty good deal if that's the case.

Can anyone just explain, like, just how this works?
    Thank you for your time.

    Hey Lixian,

The hardware bundles consist of one of our hardware + one of Komplete upgrade. The upgrade you receive can be activated with the hardware and so you wouldn't need to own any other products to be able to use it.
As you can read on each bundle page: "Note that the hardware portion of this bundle qualifies you for the included upgrade(s): You do not need to own any other Native Instruments products to take advantage of this offer."

The price of the bundle is low because the Komplete upgrade is available at 50% OFF which means you might better off purchasing a hardware bundle than the full Komplete 12 Ultimate license.

Let me know if this was clear enough ;)

That is definitely confusing wording. Regardless of the bold text, I almost didn't buy because I saw the word "upgrade" over and over. Glad Lixian asked the question.
