    OK,

So copied all my files from my MacBook Pro to shiny new external HDD. Pointed iTunes to that HDD for the future so. What do I do now?
How Do I get Traktor to look on my desktop for the music files or other files I need for a gig?

Set the new external drive path in Traktor's preferences for file locations. Import Music Folders. Blizzow, you're done.

I want to thank everyone that posted here. Somehow I was under the impression that it was a bear to move files between machines, which defeated having a backup laptop, etc. I'm feeling much better about taking on TPro vs Itch now.

Perhaps that was a T3 limitation.

Now if only I could get the ability to customize my screen layout like in T3, I'd be super happy!

    Next question

I have copied the files from my HD to my ExtHDD and as such I now has songs in two places. Which of them will be seen as the priority when I reconnect the ExtHDD, the songs on my HD that I have been working on or those that i use on the ExtHDD currently set in iTunes as the primary source?

So you have each file two times and have two entries for each file?

or did you delet the oroginal folder

if so just right click > remove duplicates
