I own Kontakt3, Battery3 and Maschine and am thinking of buying Komplete 6.

The question is...can you install/update only certain elements of the komplete package or does it require you to install everything in one shot. I only wish to install reaktor and then update the other plug-ins one at a time once I know that they are stable on my system.

I can't afford to install Komplete if it creates an install process that intertwines all of the NI products I am using.

Also how does one go about downgrading to an earlier version of a specific vi if within the komplete collection.

    Thanks for any help.

Yep- you can do it that way.
    ?

Uninstall the new version and reinstall the old. Personally, I'd keep the old version on as well- the new versions install to separate folders, and the old versions are more than likely needed for your projects.

cool. Is it possible to keep my custom locations for battery 3 and kontakt content? It looks like you have to use the same parent folder for battery and kontakt content. I have them in different places.

You can always change the location after the fact. Just move the libraries and change the path in the standalone's options menu.
