Questions about Kontrol X1

Hello, someone who knows the product could tell me if you could:

1. can i Use it directly with maschine or only works with your daw
2. the effects come in the hardware or depend on the software? come predefined or can I load new fx?
3. if it only works with traktor does it mean that it works with audio files, but also stems?
4. can you work with only 1 audio? or do you always have to mix 2 songs ?
5. That session or edition, is it on the fly I imagine, can it be saved as an audio file?

Basically what I want is to mix my own songs, I think I could do it with this, and it is not so much mixing them together, but one of them being able to modify it on the fly, I am very interested in that loop function.

The X1 is a MIDI controller of the Traktor Pro Software. Eveything you can do with the X1, you can do with the computer, software and keyboard/mouse.
For that reason, the effects depend on the software.
You can play a song with Traktor Pro software, edit it on the fly with the X1/keyboard and record it and save it as an audio file. You don´t need mixing 2 songs.
