questions on bcd 3000 and traktor le

hello everybody!

i got a bcd 3000 from behringer and the included traktor le:

1. why must i select in traktor "bcd 3000 le"
(just "bcd 3000" is working too, but then the "set cue"-button
is not working right)

2. how can i get the right mapping(like it is described in the users manual)
in traktor: -reloop is not reloop but a 4-beat loop
-set loop is not set loop but a 1-beat loop

3. why is the advanced mode (control panel) not right working

4. my fx-control section is a bit confusing : the things standing in the manual
aren't the things which the bcd is really making

hi, first of all, wir haben ein deutsches subforum, komm doch da mal hin, vielleicht ist die Problembeschreibung auf deutsch einfacher ;-)

1.) you have to import the LE file, cause it's the right one for your software.
some commands are different in the pro version.

2-4 maybe we can find a solution with screenshots ...

I have the same problems as the one described above. I'm not a german speaking person, so I don't understand the language very well. If someone could post here the english version of the problems described above it would be very helpfull.

1. How can I import the LE file? Where do I find it?

2. Same problems with reloop (4 beat) and Set cue (1 beat)

hi, I'll try it in my best english, so don't expect too much ... ;-)

1.) open the preferences window in Traktor, at the bottom line you'l see setup wizard. in the upcoming dialogue you can select your controller. be sure to select "BCD 3000 LE" not "BCD 3000".
all tsi files are located in the Traktor folder (User\Documents\Native Intrsuments\Traktor\ "settings" or "MIDI.."

changing the controller setting (define any knob or fader to another function in Traktor) is not possible in LE version.

 

leo-som:

1. the LE tsi is thought for the function as described (except for the Loop buttons, something which was changed during upgrade of Traktor 3 LE to the later versions by NI if I remember well). There are also 2 PDFs where the tsi are located which describe the button settings.

2. see 1. To get it working like you want you have to modify the tsi

3. in advanced mode the buttons on the BCD behave differently, this is described in the manual. In this mode the buttons latch (switch the controller they send on on the first press and off on the second). Please stay in normal mode.

4. see 1., have a look into the PDFs

 

similar? issue

this thread seems to be the closest to the seemingly hundreds I've been to. I'm having an issue where the lights on the controller light up when I press a button on traktor. That is about all the bcd3000 is doing. I also do not have any ion appear in the bottom right corner when I turn it on. the computer recognizes it in device manager though. I have the ASIO drivers, and it does not say bcd3000 in the sounds but it say ASIO. when i click settings it says bcd3000 is active. any help.....?
