I currently have TSP with an Audio 8 DJ to handle 4 deck mixing using my external mixer.

My mate is about to get TSP too and also wants to do 4 deck mixing using his external mixer.

But from what I can see the Audio 8 DJ is about to get phased out and replaced with the Audio 6 and Audio 10.

Does he need to get the Audio 10 to be able to do 4 deck mixing? Or will the Audio 6 be enough?

    Any help much appreciated :)

    Hi,
It depends on the way you want to use the software. The TA6 has 6 in- and outputs. 2 phono preamps allow up to 2 turntables to be connected. There are 3 line outputs.
Deck C & D can be routed to one output. If it is ok to have Deck 3 and 4 routed to one output it is possible to run 4 decks (You need to buy the TS Duo to TS Pro software upgrade to have 4 decks).
The TA10 has 10 in- and outputs. 4 Phono preamps allow up to four turntables connected. Every deck can be routed to its own channel. and you have an additional in- and out for the loop recorder.

I hope this helps to make your decision.

    Best,
    D

    Hi Daniel,

Would this be an OK set up with the Audio 6?

    Deck A into Output A
    Deck B into Output B

Sample Decks C & D into the Main Out?
