anyone have the RA fix for MacPro Leopard Logic 8? Kontakt 3 says the lib is unregistered and that I should at least open the application once. I opened the standalone, but to no avail. The Kompakt RA plugin component isn't even seen by Logic.

yes, DL something from NI or EastWest, can't remember, but there is only 10-12 support articles about RA so it's pretty easy to find

there's a whole recipe for getting it to run on Intel, and a fix in case there is trouble unlocking it

The Kompakt RA component won't be seen by Logic- it's not UB (and the Kompakt engine never will be).

Once you've opened RA in standalone, reboot. Open up K3 in standalone and include the RA content in your database by using the custom folder option (don't forget to include any other content you're using, including the K3 library, in your custom folders). Rebuild your database, and make sure the RA content's recognized. Reboot.

Open Logic and rescan your plugins. You should now be able to open the RA content with K3 inside Logic. If not, contact support.
