    quick question.

I have maschine mk1 hardware and i'm currently running the maschine software through Logic X as a plugin.

I'd like to upgrade and get the maschine studio and sell my version of maschine mk1.

How does the license transferring work when i do this? effectively i'm using the same licensed software but just a newer hardware upgrade.

Do i still have to de-register my old maschine mk1 serial key for the buyer, and then re register when i receive a new serial key for maschine studio?

    Thanks

@solger .. thanks for the links, i'm still a little unsure what to do though because...

    1) i originally bought maschine MK1 with original maschine software which came with a serial key.
    2) i then got the maschine 2.0 update license for £45...
    3) now i have upgraded to maschine studio which comes with a full maschine 2.0 license, and don't know whether to transfer both the original maschine license plus the maschine 2.0 upgrade license to replace with my new maschine studio 2.0 license?

i know as a minimum i have to transfer the original maschine license as that is part of the old MK1 hardware, but what do i do now with the maschine 2.0 upgrade license as i paid for that?

    Thanks

Update/upgrade licenses are connected to the base product. So basically selling any of the base products (which you used for getting the updates/upgrades in the first place) would render the corresponding updates/upgrades invalid.

But it's best to contact NI registration support about this directly: http://www.native-instruments.com/en/company/contact-ni/
