    Rico Baade (german customer support) emailed me on tuesday that the firmware update will be online either this or at the latest next week

    Yes, I tried the update and it sounds all good now. It could be too early to judge on every function, but NI is earning their trust back anyway!!

    Hi,

    I am new to Traktor and new to AK1, but did not expect to have this much trouble after spending that kind of money. Shortly after installing AK1 all my music was playing like it was on a 33 speed (if you remember the old 78's, 45's & 33's). Then eventually I could not play any music at all.
    I am running a Dell lnspiron Laptop, and yes it has 4 USB ports.

    Hi Cuthbeja,

    You should read my thread "AK1: How to make it work ..." cause your "33 speed" problem is directly related to a bad communication between Traktor and the AK1 concerning the Sampling rate frequency.

    - Go to the preference menu of Traktor
    - Select the soundcard submenu
    - then set the sampling frequency (41000, 48000, 96000, etc...) according to the one set in the AK1 driver utility.
