    Hello,

unfortunately the problem with the M-audio drivers still exists in the latest Reaktor 4 update. I am very sorry for the confusion. We will release another update very shortly which finally will fix this problem. Please expect the update within the next three days.

    Best regards

I use M-Audio Delta card, too

I have an Audiophile Delta 2496 card from M-Audio.
I was under the impression thatt 4.0.1 fixed the problem.

I put in a support request last night....maybe others did, too.
I imagine if they get a large volume of problems coming in, they'll be more likely to ignore it less.

Seems that you need a different Authorization for reaktor 4 in mac os 9
and os X even is the same computer...
Do any one know about it ?

    Thanks - microbio

    Re: ...

Yes, have a look to the operation manual of R4. On page 5 (in the german manual - i think in english too) it says that the programkey is build from hardware-components, the version number of the system (!) and your program-number.
So when you change the system (OSX to 9.2) you have to get a new key.

    4.01 crashing here too

i'm also unable to run 4.01 in standalone, using either my mbox with the digi core audio drivers or my tascam us428. it seems to be more stable as a vst running in cubase sx, though there are some graphic bugs and sluggish performance. my system: tibook 667/1 meg ram/osx 10.2.4.
    grrrrrr....

    follow up...

i have my tibook at work, tried running the standalone with nothing plugged into it. after getting the error that the digi core audio driver was unavailable i was able to get the standalone running using the internal audio driver. so it seems that 4.01 doesn't play well with others....
    more grrrrrr....

    Re: M-Audio Soundcards

    Hey all,

I am having the same M-audio problem, and I tried what someone here suggested-uninstall the m audio stuff and reaktor. Then, reinstall reaktor, set it's audio to be built in. It works. However, of course, now the audio card is not set up. I am afraid to take the next step of reinstalling the m audio stuff...probably won't work. But, if you are dying to see what R4 looks like, this might be a way.
