Reaktor 4 compatibility issues...

    I have two questions...

    1) What is required for Reaktor 4 to be used as an AU plug-in for Digital Performer 4? This feature was the deciding factor in my buying this program.

    2) I have a Griffin gPort (with all OSX Panther updates) running on my G4 867DP MDD because I wanted to squeeze a few more months out of my serial MIDI interface before upgrading. I've noticed that Reaktor 4 quits after being launched or when the Audio/MIDI utility is opened whenever the gPort is selected as the CoreMIDI interface option. I'm certain that this is the conflict. I simply want to know if there is a workaround. Thanks!

    I've had problems with DP3 and r4 as well. There doesn't seem to be a fix right now...someone told me to basically just wait until 4.05 comes out. (When is that going to be btw?!?!). One way around it, though not a great one, is to get the vst wrapper and run reaktor as a vst.

    Reaktor 404 and DP4.12 don't work

    I too, have noticed this very annoying problem in 4.04! DP4.12 and Reaktor 4.02 did work fine and if I substitute the old AU plug-in then I can get Reaktor up within DP4, but once I start to use Reaktor as a stand alone (in order to do paid work!!!!) then I cannot go back to those ensembles in a lower version AU plug-in.

    I found this same type of problem with Absynth - five steps forward then three steps back. Very frustrating. Fine if your are just dabbling, but I need to access Reaktor for client work.

    Please NI (and MOTU) try to be more consistent and get it sorted. I payed good money for this wonderful software. It would be nice to use it as it was intended.
