Reaktor 4 component crashes Final Cut Pro

    If the Reaktor 4.05 AU component is loaded, Final Cut Pro 4.2 crashes at launch. Specifically, it spins and spins when it hit the Reaktor 4 FX portion of the component.

    Yep. IIRC, FCP craps out with a lot of AUs. If you can, just remove R4 from the main AU folder before launching it. If at all possible, copy the R4 AUs to app specific AU folders if they offer them.

    Anyone have any idea whether Logic has an application-specific folder for AU components?

    To my surprise, I didn't have this problem at all after doing the install. I'm running FCP 4.1.1 and the latest Reaktor on the site (I think it's 4.0.4.001) and they coexist well enough together.
