    Wooopiee!

524.5MB downloading now. This is a surprise I must say. I thought it was going to public beta testing first. Popped up via the Service centre as an update.

Hope this is not any mistake by NI -- perhaps someone would like to comment/confirm?

    All the best.

Thanks for the confirmation Keir. Really great! I hope the issues with Cubase 6 are finally sorted at last.

Yay! I have one question, however: am I supposed to be able to upgrade to 5.6 from my current Reaktor installation (5.1.5, I think)?

Just downloaded the upgrade dmg off of the Service Center, but when I try to launch the installer it quits almost instantly with the message "Installation folder not found"

    I'm running OS X 10.6.7 + Komplete 5, by the way.

EDIT: Nevermind, serves me right for not reading the entire error message :p

Still not OK - first thing I tried with Cubase 5.5.3 here,
loaded the Cubase Demo "Put the 5 On it" and added
    a Reaktor Instance to it.
Then opening the Mixer instantly stutters the audio.
And it happens in both 32bit and 64bit Cubase
with the according x86 and x64 versions of Reaktor !
Cubase Priority is set to high and Audio boost is enabled,
    buffer size at 256 samples.
Switching temporaly to another buffer size (afterwards I set it back
to 256 samples) does work as a workaround here.

Though I'm glad about the x64 version, and
though I am impressed about the explicitely listed bugfixes in the readme
(this should become a standard for all other NI products also !),
I must admit, that I'm dissapointed about the fact that this issue still
    hasn't been fixed.

    Mac or Windows?

what happens if you just load an empty 'New' Cubase instance?

    Same here.
    I'm using Cubase 6.0.2 32 Bit (Windows 7).
I have opened a support ticket one week ago and the very nice support guy told me that he is able to reproduce the bug with Cubase.
Sadly it is not fixed with Reaktor 5.6.........

I post my system specs in the thread TabSel opened
    http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?t=139886
Actually what TabSel describes there is the same I experience.

With a 'new' Cubase instance it's the same, but less obvious,
that's why I tried it with a project, which puts some load on the CPU.

Update works great on my 15 inch Macbook Pro Quad Core i7 2.3 Ghz, using Logic Pro 9.1.4 as my DAW. Thanks NI for this update, please update Kore to 64 bit as well!

NI, you did'nt reinstall - load MIDI file - from 5.15 version.
    It's a missing point ..
