Reaktor 5 and 6 on the same system?

Hello all!

Im finally about to update to v.6 and just wanted to double check before buying / installing anything. I have some projects im working on which relies heavily on Reaktor 5, so I havent updated my machine in a while since im terrified of installing anything Reaktor-related that could compromise my projects in any way. Until recently I did not know that Reaktor 6 apparently will be installed as a whole new program. So, can I safely go ahead and update or is there anything I should be aware of before installing Reaktor 6 on my (Win 7) system?

i haven't had any problems with this.

it never occurred to me there might be a conflict.....never have I encountered any issue that might suggest a conflict would exist. no probs here (knock on wood)- w7 64

 

Okay so you guys have both 5 and 6 installed on your machines? Maybe I overlooked something, but I think NI could be a little more clear about this and that v.6 actually gets installed as a whole new product and can live side by side with older versions.

no problem at all, Reaktor 6 is a new installation and both 5 and 6 versions can work on the same system

 

Thats so freaking cool Cant wait to get v.6 and use some of the new stuff from the library in my trax
