Reaktor 5 Install on OSX

Just got a new Macbook Pro. I wanted to install my Reaktor 5 on it (been using the Windows version up til now), but when I put the disk and try to run the install, I get the message: "You can't open the application Reaktor 5 Installer because PowerPC applications are no longer supported".

 

Whoah, is the installer that old? Thank goodness they switched to plain package installers. That won't really help you, though, so you need to contact support. This is just more evidence that letting us get downloads of at least the core software from boxed products is a good idea

 

download and install Reaktor Player.

use the Service Centre to register it so that it becomes a 'full version' of Reaktor.

download and install the 5.7 update, which includes the whole Library.

hehe. yea, I got it when 5 came out. Been a customer since it was called Generator.

5.7.1 fixes Install Issues

5.7.1, has fixed any Install Issues so you should not have any issues when you install 5.7.1.
