Reaktor 6 and Komplete 10 Not Working Here: Running R6 in Standalone SOLVED the issue

Just installed Reaktor 6 to all its default paths. Updated Komplete to latest version. Fire up Live 9.2 and start Komplete, but none of the Reaktor 6 patches or modules load, nothing. My Komplete 10 does have a non-default path for it's content, but not sure why that would matter.

Anyone else?

Update: so I ran the stand-alone Komplete 10 outside of Live, and then retried in Live, and now the patches load. Strange, but might be a step required!!!

you should alway, always run Reaktor in Standalone Mode after any install - including any updates.

this includes any Komplete 10 plugin.

also, if you happen to have Komplete Kontrol, it is best toalso run it in Standalone Mode and check that the NI plugins load up before using it in a DAW.

Yesterday a friend of mine aking me about issues with the 32bit plugin and Ableton Live. On some MacOS systems it seems not to be recognized as VST in Live. The Komplete Kontrol software is another thing maybe. For me it worked with 32bit but im using windows. It is already reported?

fact is: Windows PC can run Komplete Kontrol and Reaktor 6 as VSTs on both 32 Bit and 64 bit DAWs.

however, on Mac's Reaktor 6 and Komplete Kontrol will only run as VSTs in 64 Bit DAWs. that is the way it is.

the reasoning would be a coding issue to do with Macs.

Good advice of course.
You would think though that if you ran a VST before you run standalone, it would pop up with a message saying plugin is disabled until you run it as stand alone. Would not be very hard to code..
