Random Noobie Question about processing. Will Reaktor's engine respond/work with the "turbo boost" spec in the newer Macs (iMac Pro/Mac Pro)? In other words, would a large ensemble or rack make use of the (say full 4.5 (turbo boost)) of a base (say 3.2 Ghz) processing thread?

I know PC's and user built configs have more options for building a powerhouse, but I'd like to stay with Mac since I've been on one for so long.

Also will more RAM increase performance/CPU usage of an ensemble? And what is the difference between and i7 and say, a Xeon W processor?

I'm asking all these question because I'm considering upgrading my i7 4.0 Ghz Intel Core iMac to an iMac Pro.

With Reaktor it's all about single-core speeds.

Reaktor boosts from fast RAM due to branch prediction / caching.
