On both of my Systems i have the problem that if there's a certain amount of processing power needed by the song (as in most songs...) KORE freezes the DAW when loading Reaktor Sounds.

Today I tried to fix this with the support on the phone. We didn't manage...

    System 1) Windows 7 x64 on Intel i7 Cubase 5.5.2 (32bit) All NI-Plugs latest version
    System 2) Windows 7 x64 Intel i3 Ableton Live 8.2.1 All NI-Plugs latest version

It seems i got the problem fixed on my i3 Ableton Live System by deselecting CPU 0 in Task Manager for LIVE.

And the support was telling me all of the possible solutions NI has to offer.
Without success... Registry-things, koredb things, vst-plug version issues, everything seems to be alright with my system.

And i even tried the Wrapper-Solution from User "Neverender" (thanks!). In vain...

I think, it must have something to do with the CPU (Multiprocessor?)

    Has anyone any idea?

Turn off hyperthreading. NI apps do not like it.

    ok. got it.
i suggest native instruments should intergrate this into their system requirements!
Or at least into the knowledge base!

and if you own a computer where you cannot turn HT off you simply can't use NI apps. At least not with 100% safety.
    ?

You mean like here in the tips for Vista?
    http://www.native-instruments.com/k...g+Tips+for+Windows+Vista+for+audio+processing

It refers to only P4s with HT, but the same holds true for the i series. I'll ask the guy who does knowledge base articles to update it for W7 and i series processors.
There isn't an HT system I can think of where you can't turn off HT in the BIOS. You might have to ask the mainboard vendor what they call it in their BIOS options, though.

ew, thanks for your quick reply!

if you are sure i will try again searching the HT-off option in my i3-system-BIOS. i hope, you're right...

i think that's kind of a good idea.

    cheers

    KORE freezes Cubase

Not only with Reaktor sounds but also with others (e.g. Deep Transformations-Sounds).

Turning off Hyperthreading obviously didn't help!

And the standalone DOES load these sounds!
