    Hi Newbie here...

just recently splashed out on Reaktor 4 and Reaktor electronic Instruments 2, and iam having trouble with some of the instruments in Electronic instruments 2.

    Problem:
Made a good solid tight drum track in krypt but iam abit lost on how to write it in the midi editor in cubase sx.

what am i doing wrong any suggestions????

maybe im lazy, but i wouldnt even bother recording the midi, id just record it as an audio file (i think you arm the track and hit record, i dont use cubase though) and mess with it in audio form, since krypt's sequencer is pretty crazy and you cant really get the same results in cubase w/o a lot of work

I think that exporting an audio file is really the only way to conveniently do it. I've grappled with this issue in Sonar, and it took me a while to come to the conclusion that the best way to use sequenced synths and drum machines is simply to generate wavs using Reaktor's recorder function (or bounce to track in the host, but I think the standalone will yield more consistent results).

This could be accomplished, but the drum machine would have to be rigged to output midi note data, and be able to receive it. Not exactly a newbie venture, but definitely doable. I'm kind of surprised the EI instruments don't have this feature already, as the package is intended in part for the Reaktor Session crowd.
