    Hi

I'm trying to build my first Reaktor 6 FX over an audio track.
For that I need to put a block for Audio-In (or something likely) in the chain start.
    however I can't find such a block/util.
(It's not under Bento Box nor under Utils)

Where can I find the Audio-In block?
How is it named? In which folder I can find it?

    Thanks!
    Booli

It's not a block, it's these two input modules that are there when you start a new ensemble. Alternately, press enter and type "In" to create new ones. The first input becomes the left input and the second becomes the right.

    Found it, Thanks!
It would be really nice if NI allowed to have also a pair of side chain source....

Go to Audio and Midi settings > Routing
You can configure up to 40 inputs.

OK, sounds great... I can't understand though, which channel in the DAW is the source let's say of input #3 and #4??

    EDIT:
Reading the right page in the manual let me see that there is NO Audio and Midi settings on a Reaktor instance inside a DAW. only in the standalone version.

So my wish remains - Too bad there's no side chain inputs as well...

You have to set it within the DAW. You should be able to set the output for each track. Which DAW is it?

I haven't used Cubase but I would think it would be right on the track, not hard to find. A dropdown menu usually.

I have a droodown menu, but it's for outputs, not for inputs.
And actually as far as i know, in Cubase you cant route more than one stereo audio input into a plugin (except sidechain which provides another pair while activated. However Reaktor does NOT have sidechain ability)

You have to connect Cubase outputs to Reaktor inputs.

As I said, it's written in the Reaktor manual -
There is NO "Audio and Midi settings" on a Reaktor instance inside a DAW, but only in the standalone version.

"route an additional track to the first track"

There's no such thing in Cubase.

I only own Cubase 7 LE. Think it's the same to route. <F11> load instrument Reaktor. Create midi/audio track. The routing is on the left side in Cubase. Mark the track and choice the ins (Reaktor). Okay, using Reaktor in Cubase/DAW it's for me a rare thing.

    It's midi routing, not audio.

I don't know about cubase. But in studio one i need to use Reaktor FX to route audio to it.
That mean i have to apply it as a effect.
I can apply the effect. Then if needed (like when using a vocoder) i create a track and assign the Reaktor FX to that track.
For all effects in Reaktor i have to use the ReaktorFX version.
I think it's the same in Cubase.

It's the same when using FM8 and Absynth. I need to Use the FX versions to use them with external audio input.

Looks like a feature request is required :-|

Is it possible to set it up monophonically, using the R input as the sidechain? ...this would depend on the routing capabilities of Cubase.
And you would have to run two instances to achieve stereo.

That's right LBH. Can't understand a MIDI routing to an audio input!?!

I'm not sure I got you right - Do you assign More than one audio track into the very Same Copy of ReaktorFX??

    It's MIDI Inputs!!!
I see you insist wasting my time with sayings having no references.

So in order to show your claim was true, you come up with a non relevant mistaken article.
Nice. Man you are really a non professional.
