and fwiw, i would not use Logic, if i did not have to teach it.
So are you actually rendering each one of all your tracks in Ableton just before every mix in PT?

And for Logic, unfortunately, agreed. Great UI but lacks critical featues.
Good point. I would prefer to do the rendering in Pro Tools, so I would more likely export the MIDI parts and render the audio in Pro Tools. That of course depends on how much time I have.
Yes, Logic does lack critical features but bang for buck is still attractive.
