Im thinking of buying Reaktor, after I buy a computor. But Im not sure whether to go for a Mac or PC. Which is better for use with electronic software ? Ive been told pc is cheaper and faster, but that Mac is more reliable and intuitive > Has anyone worked with both, who could give me advice ?

Get the Mac version only if you are really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really patient and have money to waste. Or pick up Mac version 2 on eBay.

If you buy a Mac, assume you are in OS X land. OS X on Mac is supposed to grow into a great, stable audio environment. So far it is a pleasure to use. You will have to wait until bugs are worked out in Cubase SX and Logic is updated (Rewire issues), but you can get started now. If money is an issue, go to a PC. NI develops for PC a year (or more) ahead of their Mac development, so on that platform, your software will be more up to date.

I should add, Reaktor is not available for OS X (yet?).
