    Hello Dear forum members.

I am quite new here and also very new to Reaktor. I just had Reaktor a couple of days.
I try to make a setup using Reaktor to Control my hardware. I managed to get my Minilogue working With the Bento sequencer as well as my Volca keys.
What I can't seem to manage is to set up Machine Sequencer Block With my Volca Beats.

I don't have a midi out on my Audio Interface so I run the Beats thru my Akai Advance midi out. Both of them are set to channel 10.
I set the Machine Sequencer block to Chanel 10 and set the controls to CC values that match the Volca Beats midi chart. But I just can't get the Machine Block to trigger the different drum sounds and sequence it.. I manage to trigger the different drum parts using midi out, so hardware should be connected correctly. I get audio from reactor when I play the Volca beats patterns.

I was hoping someone here has some experience with this and maybe help me out.

I have not worked much with midi so I am kind of a noob on that :)

The "Maschine" Sequence Block? You have to connect the midi outs in Reaktor using its virtual patchs cables out to the physical outs. Reaktor also must see the physical outs in The Midi setting.

    Thanks for your reply :)

I manage to trigger the Volca Beats using the Bento 8 step sequencer so I guess it has to do with the machine sequencer Block setup..

Ok, I kind of solved my problem. Not with the Machine Sequencer but with triggering drum sounds. I started playing With the Kodiak Shift Sequencer and noticed that this is even a better sequencer for drums. I need to set up a sequencer for each drum part, but it will now be possible to very easily make advanced polyrhythmic parts with the "Range" function :)

Ok, So I found a way to trigger the drum sounds of the Korg Volca Beats using Machine Sequencer Block. It worked using constant pitch values for the Midi Out Blocks. I uploaded a Picture so you can see.

I just love Reaktor and how to work out things using logic :) Had it only for a few days and I can't wait to get more into it. It's been some looong Nights this weekend :)

Thanks for the inspiration. I broke out my Volca for the first time in a while today.
Too bad the midi options aren't more expansive. Fun though.

Yeah They are great fun :) After finishing the drum sequencer i used two Kodiak sequencers to trigger the Minilogue and the Volca Keys goin into the Audio in of the Minilogue. Both playing with the Beats! :)

Looking forward to dive deeper into Reaktor :)
