I had reaktor 4 running fine on my PC, untill I changed the folder of my vst´s in Cubase 5.1. Then Reaktor-vst went in a new folder.
When launching it it said :" New Systemconfiguration - run the registration-tool". So I did. I got the result :" you registered successful". But ...

Now, when I launch Reaktor standalone or vst it always says :" New Systemconfiguration - run the registration-tool". And it doesn´t load Reaktor-vst.

I even did a re-install of Reaktor, but no change!

I need it badly and get really depressed.

    Please help if anybody can.

just changing a folder should not prompt a call for a new Reaktor registration. Have you perhaps changed some other significant component of your set-up (such as sound-card, OS, hard-drive, etc.)?

In case you haven't: run the Registration Tool app and re-enter your authorization key.

I didn´t change anything of my hardware.

And I ran the registration tool maybe 50 times now, but it doesn´t help.

it says always successful, but it doesn´t remember.

Now I have the 30 days free user license, but what is happend????

And it is a legal program!!!

    Anyway thanks for your try.

    I found a way :)

I deleted Reaktor and Cubase from my System and installed Cubase and after that Reaktor again.
    Now it works.
    I don´t no why.

And the NI support couldn´t help me at all. :-(

Hope you find your way, if not ask again, and we´ll make it.

And then please give more details about your PC and software.

Im using a PC, AMD Athlon 2100, Windows XP home edition.

If I wipe Cubase will I lose all of my arrangements and tracks?

Or can I just save/ back up all the files???

As long as you back up the files, you can do whatever you want to your system, including taking a bat to it. You can't lose anything if its backed up. :)

I'm not sure what you mean by the whole Cubase "file". IIRC, Cubase stores projects in individual folders, and these are what you need to back up.

It doesn't matter where you store your Cubase projects. They should work equally fine from any locally mounted writable volume. Put them wherever is convenient for you.

Thanks for your time John... 1 more question.

Does CWDXPX1.dll have anything to do with Native I instruments, because when I load Cubase I get a message saying CWDXPX1.dll missing. This may be causing the problem!

Do you use a creamware card?

Or what soundcard do you have?

And just back up the song files, the to them belonging folders, and the arrangements.

Well, your soundcard should be fine,
I would suggest to do a reinstall.
Or do as the others suggested.

    googled this:

as far as I understand the CWDXPX1.dll has to do with the DXi plugin version.
So if you use the vst version, and only the vst version, you shouldn´t need this dll.
Have a look in the folder where you installed the Reaktor plugin, if there is the dxi version also installed, maybe deleting it will help?

Thanks everyone for your help.... I went home from work yesterday and got straight on the computer to sort this out once and for all, and I managed to cure the problem WOOO HOOO!!!!

First of all I deleted a load of crap VST's then run search for the CWDXPX1.dll which only appears in Native instrument files ( for some reason ). I found it in my Battery folder and FM7. I read from another forum that I should copy this file and paste it into the windows\system32 folder...which I did. I then un-installed Reaktor 4 and deleted all dll's relating to it that might have been missed.

I then rebooted re-installed and waited patiently. It authorized fine and was running perfectly as a stand alone, I then tried my luck in Cubase....... there and then my sand castle was kicked over, "System configuration changed please go to the registration tool" Again it was automatically un-authorized!!!!!

There was only one last thing to try, and it was something Marius Wilhelm suggested on this forum yesterday. Supposidly if Cubase is running in compatibility mode it can have this effect. So I right clicked on the Cubase icon ( the shortcut on my desktop ) went to properties/compatibility and un-ticked it. After re authorizing Reaktor4 a second time I loaded cubase and HALLELUJAH IT WORKED!!!!

So a big big thanks to Marius Wilhelm, you saved me from wiping Cubase form my system for no reason.

I then spent the whole night making nasty warped Soundz!!!!!
