What a piece of crap. I want my money and wasted time back.

And since complete silence from support, I will be spreading the news all around. Stay away and save your money from these jokers.

On 10.4? I dont think so.

Well, got someone from Tech Support, and he confirms that it does not work with 10.4. They have discontinued it and will not be updating it.

The thing is, it does not state this neither in the Reaktor Session webpage, nor in any clearly evident place on this website. NI's response is "Read the fine line". Oh, how great.

This statement is very misleading as well: 'Nearly all NI products are fully compatible with the new Apple Mac X OS 10.4 operating system without the need to install any NI update. While upgrading to Mac OS 10.4, we recommend choosing the installation type "Upgrade Mac OS X"

Well, looks like the only option is rollback to an earlier MAc OS or get the R5 upgrade for $169. Will more frusturation follow with R5? I hope not.

I am still quite pissed :)

Ah - I'm on 10.3.9. Now I'm glad I haven't upgraded to 10.4 yet! Hope NI gets things straightened out soon.

That's why I've vowed never to buy another NI product. After all the fanfare of the new release, you get one or two bugfixes, if you're lucky, and then they discontinue the product and move on to 35 other projects that have "taken priority" (34 of which are then abandoned).

I never bought Session because I just knew they'd drop it ... and I was right.

    Same for me.

I'm running RS along with logic audio 7 on OS 10.4.1 and everything is working fine.

Maybe it likes me? I'm such a nice boy it shure wouldn't let me down...

Works for me, too. OS 10.4.1 and Logic Express 7. Those whom it does not work for, did you update to version 1.3.1 of Session? Out of the box, the program didn't work, but that took care of the problem for me.
