    Hi All,

Well here is my delima. I have Reaktor 3 on the PC, but I really use a MAC for most of my audio work and I want to intergrate Reaktor into my Mac system. I downloaded my free crossgrade BUT, I use a mac 9600/350 WITHOUT a USB port, and of course Reaktor 3 REQUIRES a USB port for the Dongle authorization/copy protection. The problem is my ProTools system has ALL of my PCI slots full so a USB PCI card is not an option.

Does ANYONE know of a solution for me, is there such a device that will convert or adapt my serial ports on my mac to USB for the Dongle to plug into?

Now, I am aware of all the adapters that convert from USB > Serial, but I need the REVERSE of this!

Native Instruments has basically told me I'm out of luck and that they know of no other solution other than buying a new mac or a PCI expansion chassis, neither of which is an option at the moment.

Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestion or knowledge of a device that will solve this problem for me?

    Thanks.
