Real-time track stem separation

I've just tested Real-time track stem separation in competing product of other company and it's marvelous.
Separation of voice, drums is excellent.
Traktor should have it ASAP.

 

+1, Stem extraction/separation

and will be a USP for many users, now that 2 packages have pushed this to the DJ market.
Very curious if/how Traktor/Serato/Rekordbox will tackle & implement this...

Totally agree - was considering switching from Traktor but found I didn't like the other software so much. Among other things, I really prefer the having separate waveforms for each stem in Traktor. So for now I'll stick with Xtracks Stems and Traktor. However would love if Traktor had real time stem separation that output the separate waveforms for each stem. Failing this, batch processing of files in Xtracks Stems would be great so I could get my library converted without spending so much time (I know this has nothing to do with NI).

NI were the ones who started stems years ago and I always wanted to DJ more like this (in fact before I knew better I thought this is what DJs were doing) but the lack of stems format tunes was the only barrier. Now it seems things are changing (Xtracks, real time separation, etc.), so it feels like NI should be well-placed to integrate real-time stems or similar and lead on this once again!
