Record direct from hitting cells/pads?

    Is there a button or method for recording a pattern into your sequencer if on correct track directly by hitting the mouse to the pad/cell..I know this is offered in Lm4 but is it offered in Battery??
    I hope one day a step sequncer add on to battery 2.0..like Reason's Redrum..Like a little arrown to hit down if you want to see it (like Kontakt) and a step sequncer ,filters etc..

    Works fine for me, all you do is hit record on your sequencer, make sure it's on the right channel first, and hit the cell you want to record.
    Personally i don' t think battery needs a step sequencer or filters, the thing i like about battery is it is fairly stripped down & efficient, their are plenty decent filter plug-ins & i don't know what sequencer you use but alot have step sequencers built in.
