recording audio out is strange...

So, I wanted to try the new style recorder box to export some loops. What happens is, if I set the recorder to start with the clock and go for say 1 bar, I just get a short blip of sound. If I use the cross box (like the one in Maschine) to drag audio out, the loop is longer than it should be and there is extra sound at the end, thus making it not a perfectly synced loop. Is there a loop optimization parameter like the one in Maschine to do this better?

 

(Just wanted to mention that there's another aspect of the new Recorder that bothers me: No time display. If I'm recording in Reaktor, I like to keep an eye on the time to see the duration and also to be sure it IS in fact recording. The 5.5 Recorder provides no feedback to indicate that it is recording, except for the Pause button being visible.)

 

yeah, I mentioned this in the main discussion thread, but its rather annoying. Also an easy fix I'm guessing - has it been raised as a bug?

That is right, I also like/need the time display on the recorder, it gives an idea of time (when to stop recording)
