I have a Roland MV-8000 and want to record the knob movements of the Kore controller to the sequencer in the MV-8000. From what I have read by searching here, it does not seem possible. But I just wanted to confirm before deciding whether Kore is for me or not.

So does using the knobs on the Kore controller transmit midi messages on the midi ports? Or does it only transmit midi via usb?

    Thanks

    Welcome :)

No, it isn't possible- yet. KORE doesn't function as a generic MIDI controller- it uses VST automation. And while you can assign knobs and the like to controllers, as far as I know they're basically used as host controllers.

More MIDI implementation is planned for a future update from what I've heard.
