When Input Deck A is at Ch A left and right, the timecoded vinyl works. However the two blue bars that indicate the track is recording don't appear. But when I switch the input decks to main left and main right, the blue bars appears, but the timecoded vinyl doesn't work. I'm not sure what's going on. The RCA cables are connected to the Main IN and the Record OUT of my mixer.

Use Input C or D for recording if you are using timecode on A and B.

thanks again, it works now. I was planning to make a mix with 10 actual vinyls and 1 mp3 via timecoded vinyl and record the mix on traktor scratch pro 2. I'm just wondering if that's possible.

nevermind, I keep asking too many questions. I configured Traktor Audio 6 in Sound Forge and it works perfectly.

yes you can! there are several options to do that, e.g. put deck a/b in thru mode and play the mp3 from deck c and record on deck d. or, if you use the multicore cables, you just switch the mixer on phono when you play vinyl and on line if you're playing the mp3; then you could use either input c or d for recording.

If you're mixing externally you don't need to do any extra routing in Traktor to record, since your record source is the output of the mixer.

your recording preferences? you would have to use internal recording.

everything has been working fine since I made this thread. however when I'm recording my 80 minute mix, it automatically resets and starts recording again. It reset halfway into my mix and makes a new recording file in the process. Not sure why it does that.

Change the file size of your recoding in preferences.
