In this setup I am using an S4 MK3 and an F1. F1 switching between remix decks and tekken mapping.

What am I trying to do? So on the S4, while playing on Deck B (for example) and Remix Deck on Deck D. I can be on Deck B, hit the sample button and the record button on the S4, then drum a loop to layer on top of Deck B. So far so good. It is stuck to just one row of pads at a time. So if I load a Remix Deck track, I would have to first figure out which samples I want to use in each column, load it onto the row of the S4 that I will be playing and do exactly as I mentioned. However, what I really want is instead of doing that same exact function to just the 4 pads in the row, I want to be able to use all 16 pads of the F1. I understand, I can drum on the 16 pads in real time but I have not been able to find a way to record the drumming done on all 16 pads of the F1.

Is what I am looking to do possible? I would guess a simple record button on the F1 like the record button on the S4 MK3 would solve this as long as it functions the same. Going into step sequencer mode could work but I cannot drum out the loop as you have to set each channel of the remix deck one at a time.
