Recording MIDI Notes in your DAW from MASCHINE

Hi,
I can't record midi notes in Ableton live. I followed the tutorial, but it doesn't work
I have version 2.14.5 loaded as vst in ableton live 10.

trying to work out the same ... how hard can it be? ... i've followed numerous tutorials without any luck

now the missing link for me in an otherwise happening MaschineMk3/Push2 combination

also become an issue now as i've fully migrated to Ableton with Live11 updates

 

But you can drag & drop the MIDI notes from Mas to your DAW — Why do you need to record it realtime?

when i'm using it as a VST in Live, i don't use Maschine's seq at all ... the point of using MashineVST in Live is to avoid Machine's pattern based secondary sequencer running inside a perfectly good sequencing environment like Live w Push2

step sequencing MaschineVST drumrack on Push2, while having all the sound parameters available for editing on Maschine makes a very powerful drum seq setup

i'm using mainly Maschine drumsynths as the basis for my kits - seriously my fav 'drum machine' setup ever combined with Push2

so, i'm mostly step sequencing but want the option to MIDI record live finger drumming from Maschine pads into the same clip
