Recording on Guitar Combos 3

I recently obtained Guitar Combos 3, complete with a Behringer guitar interface etc. But regardless of which present I use when recording with the program, upon playback the sound is simply an ordinary guitar sound.

How do you record in a way that maintains the effects of playing with a present upon playback and saving?

Hi,

The version of Guitar Combos that you have does not function as a plug-in, so it won't record. If you want to record, take a look at the Guitar Rig options on the market right now:

Guitar Rig Mobile
Guitar Rig Session
Guitar Rig XE
Guitar Rig 3

All of these solutions will be a considerable step up in quality from the Combos you currently have.

The Guitar Combos user manual says it can play as standalone or "plug-in". I used Kristal software for recording but the sound is without Combo effects.
Maybe Kristal doenst read Combo as plug in. In this case which program can read it?

Waht version of Guitar Combos works as plug in?

There was a version of Guitar Combos that had a plug-in, but it was not shipped with Behringer. You bought it directly from NI or in retail stores. The version that you get for free with Behringer only works as a standalone app. The manual must be incorrect, or is for the other version. I'm sorry for the confusion this may have caused.

Yes, XE is a plugin. It will do exactly what you want.
