For some reason my recordings aren't picking up any sound. I have the recording option set to internal and use the recording function within TSP.

I click record and it does start to record except the level meters are not displaying any activity. A wav file is created in the specified directory but when played back it is silent

Any idea what I'm doing wrong here?

    Cheers

I suspect you're mixing externally, right?

That means you can't record internally.

You need the record the master-output of your mixer somehow.

Yup, route your A&H back into an audio8 channel

So let me get this straight.. If you have Traktor Pro and Audio DJ 4, you cant record internally if you are using an external mixer? All outputs on my ADJ4 are used up with timecode.. I was thinking upgrading to Pro so I can map hotkeys and record internally.. ****in joke if ya can only record internally.. it doesnt mention that one in the comparison chart....

External mixing means Traktor sends the decks outputs to the output channel you specified.
How can Traktor know what you're doing with your mixer?

You could use your computer's internal soundcard to record your mixing.

I'm not using any timecode but I am using 4 internal decks, so can the record out on my Xone92 go into any of the channel inputs on the Audio8 even though all 4 channels outputs are being used?
