    Hello.

Traktor (Scratch) Duo cannot record your set. Only on Traktor (Scratch) Pro. You must have a different application to record. Try searching this site for any recording application. I know that someone here posted a link to a good recording application to use.

If you are mixing externally you will need run a cable from the record or booth out of your mixer back into your audio8 sound card (channel c or d on the front of the card), then select that channel in the recording section of the preferences. Then click on the cassette icon above the decks to see the recording panel.

Traktor Scratch Pro doesn't work with a DJ IO so I'm confused.

I'll assume you are using Traktor Pro. You will need to run a cable from your rec or booth out of your mixer into your mic in (if it doubles as a line in) on your laptop. Then use a seperate audio application to record your set.
