Recording real vinyl

    How come when I click record in traktor it will only record timecode mp3? is there a way for me to record real vinyl either straight into traktor or using some other program?

    Do you mean pressing the traktor button at the top of the mixer? If so I've tried that.

    No, that sets it to Thru mode... you select "Live Input" in preferences in Decks layout.

    Ah right, where a bouts is it? live input isn't coming up on decks layout

    I've found live input mode, but it isn't recording any sound

    So you have decks set to live input, and mixer in Traktor mode, and you don't have sound going through the recorder? That's odd.

    No I didn't have the traktor button on at the same time, it's annoying, I can record mixes using timecode fine but not vinyl.
