Recording real vinyl

I cant seem to record real vinyl on my z2 I have been able to in the past, but now it doesn't pick any input up when I go to record, the time code side of it is ok, can anyone help me with this, also dumb it down as much as possible as I'm not the most tech savvy person, al im using equipment wise is 2 turntables and the z2 mixer, Tia.

I'm lost bloody hate technology never had this problem in the past, is it possible to have so I can have vinyl and time code on both decks, surely I don't have to alternate between the decks do I.

 

The support is generally pretty good, why don't you try following the instructions and then, when you think you've got as far as you can, log a ticket saying you can't get it working. I find the NI support pretty good.

 

Cheers I wasn't aware I could do that imas far as I can get with it now, I can get a live supply but I'm sure I used to be able to do have a live input and timecode on each deck, how do I log a ticket please.

Press "Click here for Traktor & DJ Help" and progress through the steps until you (hopefully) reach a point where the only remaining option is to log a ticket.

 

You need to switch to "Live" mode, to do this hold SHIFT & press the Traktor button on top of you mixer for the channel(s) you wish to record real vinyl. You can also add any of the FX to real vinyl using Live mode. Hold SHIFT press the Traktor button again to switch back to DVS, You can do this on-the-fly to switch back & forth between DVS & Live so you can record your mixes even if your mix has Part real vinyl & part DVS etc
